More than 500 years, Yixing’s technique of dark-red enameled pottery has been passed from generation to generation, which brought out numerous rare treasures. The art of dark-red enameled pottery flourished nowadays, and the price in the market continued to rise. In this year, the "Seventh Chinese international ceramic arts and culture festival" was held in Yixing, the pottery city. The Yixing municipal official selected the "ten Chinese classic dark-red enameled pottery type" in the history, summarizing the art history of Yixing dark-red enameled pottery systematically. Subsequently, the “Chinese ten famous dark-red enameled pottery” was unveiled in an art district of Beijing, attracting great attention of the enthusiastic collectors.
